Marloes Oudeman (born 8 February 1980, Leiderdorp – the Netherlands)
Marloes grew up in a very musical family and started taking piano lessons at an early age.
Soon, she was playing in several bands. At the age of 17, she started her studies at the Rotterdam Conservatory (School Music Department 1st grade) and graduated in 2002. In her second year at the Rotterdam Conservatory, she combined her studies with a singing course (as a main subject) at the Pop Academy.
Currently, Marloes works as a music and drama teacher at a secondary school.
In addition, she produces musicals, dealing with the direction, choreography and music.
Also, she did a lot of backing vocals in various bands and last year she started her study for theatre director and actor.

Jaco van den Dool (born 31 January 1980, De Lier – the Netherlands)
Jaco got in touch with music from a very early age. He started taking piano lessons at the age of eight. After successfully completing Secondary Music School, taking a degree at Rotterdam Conservatory seemed an obvious choice. In 2002, he graduated cum laude at the School Music Department (1st grade) as a “Bachelor of Music in Education”.
Currently, Jaco works as a music teacher at a secondary school, teaching grades 1 to 6. In addition, he is a band leader/conductor at the annual school musical production.
As well as being a music teacher, he is also a stand-up comedian and pianist.

Synopsis
Based on Puccini's 'La Boheme', 'Rent' tells the story of one year in the life of friends living the Bohemian life in modern day East Village, New York City, 1989-1990.
Among the group are our narrator, nerdy love-struck filmmaker Mark Cohen;
the object of Mark's affection, his former girlfriend, Maureen Johnson;
Maureen's Harvard-educated public interest lawyer and lesbian lover Joanne Jefferson; Mark's roommate, HIV-positive musician and former junkie, Roger Davis; Roger's new girlfriend, the HIV-positive drug addicted S&M dancer, Mimi Marquez;
their former roommate, HIV-positive computer genius Tom Collins; Collins' HIV-positive drag queen street musician/lover Angel; and Benjamin Coffin III a former member of the group who married for money and has since become their landlord and the opposite of everything they stand for.
Shows how much changes or doesn't change in the 525,600 minutes that make up a year.

Synopsis
